Our Sodium Butyrate SR is a food for special medical use, rich in butyric acid. 1 daily serving contains 960 mg of sodium butyrate, providing 768 mg of butyric acid. Thanks to the extended-release (SR) microencapsulation technology, the active substances are gradually released, while neutralising unpleasant taste and odours. Unless otherwise advised by your doctor, we suggest taking 2 capsules per day: one capsule twice a day, after a meal. The capsule should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. The product is intended for oral use only. Our SR Sodium Butyrate formula is available in two variants: a pack containing 30 or 60 servings, so you can choose the right amount to suit your needs.
